Wissahickon Trails is a local, community-supported nonprofit. Our budget depends entirely on the generosity of our supporters—individuals, foundations, and corporations. Thank you for helping us keep the Wissahickon Valley a place where people and nature can thrive.

Your gift makes our work possible. We rely on the generosity of community members to care for our trails, preserve native habitats and educate the next generation of environmentalists.
Maintaining 24 miles of trail costs $1,000 per mile. Basic care for 600 acres of habitat costs $250 per acre.
Make a Monthly Donation
Increase your impact by committing to a monthly recurring gift, which helps us continue our work in the Wissahickon year-round.
One-time Donation
A one-time donation of any amount supports our critical efforts to protect and steward the land and waterways of the Wissahickon Valley.
You are invited to join the Legacy Society, a group of like-minded individuals who understand the importance of preserving open space for future generations. A legacy gift, such as a bequest, charitable remainder trust, or retirement plan assets will ensure that your thoughtful philanthropic plans are realized for years to come.
To get started, or if you’ve already chosen Wissahickon Trails as a beneficiary, contact Anna Marchini, Development Director, at anna@wissahickontrails.org or 215-646-8866.
Wissahickon Trails hosts six signature events each year with attendance of more than 2,700 people. As a corporate sponsor, your company will have your name and logo in all marketing materials for the event, showing that your company values open space and environmental stewardship.
Your business can support Wissahickon Trails’ education programming while receiving valuable tax credits. The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) provides companies with a 75% tax credit for donations to Wissahickon Trails, an approved educational improvement organization. Your business will receive a PA state tax credit, and is eligible as a charitable deduction on your federal tax returns.
